Excited and interested as to what Waterville Valley would be like, we headed out on a long bus journey to the new resort after breakfast. Due to the rainy weather from the previous day, the conditions were very slippery and icy. The instructors were very pleasant and encouraging towards all of us, ensuring we were skiing on slopes which suited our level of ability whilst pushing us to learn new skills. The conditions were very hard to ski in, but all persevered and did well. After the journey back and a quick dinner, we took a trip to an arcade in the local area. This brought out the competitive side in some, particularly the teachers, when we were challenging each other in games of mini golf, ten-pin bowling, and various arcade games. The day left us content but very tired, and optimistic that our next and final day on the slopes would have better conditions.
