Two English classes took part in a 'Decorate a Door' competition as part of World Book Day on Thursday 7th March.

Pupils from 1S1 and 1A1 read 'Witch Child' by Celia Rees and decorated a door in the English Department with research booklets, imaginative pieces and artwork related to the novel.  Three pupils from 1A1 – MAdison Ingram, Robyn Geddes and Leena McKenna – decorated the door, adding some effective touches such as spiders, webs – even a cauldron and a cat!  A photograph of the door has been sent off to be judged alongside entries from several other schools in Aberdeen City.  Winners will appear in the local press.  Fingers crossed!
